Apple Untung 50% Lebih Setiap 1 iPad Air Terjual

Tidak butuh waktu lama buat IHS Suppli, untuk membongkar dan memperkirakan berapa biaya yang dikeluarkan Apple buat merakit sebuah iPad Air, iPad generasi ke–5 yang baru saja dirilis oleh Apple secara luas.

Dalam publikasi IHS yang dipublikasikan oleh AllThingsD, Apple mengeluarkan biaya sebesar $274 hingga $361 untuk sebuah iPad Air. Sebagai perbandingan, Apple membanderol perangkat tersebut dengan harga $499 untuk iPad Air 16 GB WiFi dan $929 untuk iPad Air 128 GB WiFi + Cellular.

Lebih lengkap lagi, Apple mengeluarkan $90 untuk layar iPad Air, $43 buat komponen layar sentuh, $18 buat Apple A7 (buatan Samsung), antara $9 dan $60 buat flash storagenya (buatan Toshiba), $10 untuk chip DRAM (buatan Elpida), dan chip seluler buatan Qualcomm yang memungkinkan iPad Air bisa terkoneksi ke semua jaringan LTE, yang menurut IHS Suppli berharga $32.
