iPad Air Raih Gelar Tablet Terbaik 2014 di Mobile World Congress

Global Mobile Awards (via 9to5mac) baru saja menganugrahi iPad Air sebagai â€œBest Mobile Tabletâ€ pada perhelatan Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, yang dibuka Senin lalu di Barcelona, Spanyol.

iPad Air memenuhi semua kriteria sebagai tablet mobile terbaik. iPad Air memiliki desain mengagumkan, presisi, tipis, dan ringan; performa kelas tinggi, dan ekosistem yang mumpuni. Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar utama juri GMA menentukan pilihannya kepada tablet besutan Apple tersebut.

Precision-engineered to weigh just one pound, iPad Air is 20 percent thinner and 28 percent lighter than the fourth generation iPad, and with a 43 percent narrower bezel the borders of iPad Air are dramatically thinner. iPad Airâ€™s Retina display makes web pages, text, images and video look incredibly sharp and realistic, and the new power-efficient A7 chip allows the battery to be even smaller, helping reduce the overall volume by 24 percent from the previous generation while doubling its performance and maintaining its up to 10-hour battery life.

Dalam ajang tahunan bergengsi yang diadakan oleh asosiasi GSM tersebut, iPad Air harus bersaing ketat dengan kembarannya iPad Mini Retina Display, Google Nexus (2013), dan Sony Xperia Tablet Z yang menjadi nominasinya. Sayangnya, iPhone 5s tidak seberuntung saudara besarnya itu. Penghargaan smartphone terbaik jatuh kepada HTC One.
