Apple Siap Gelar Apple Music Festival Bulan Depan di London

Apple telah mengumumkan rencananya untuk menggelar festival musik tahunan iTunes Festival selama 10 hari berturut-turut mulai dari tanggal 19 – 28 September 2015 di London, Inggris.

Namun ada yang baru mengenai festival musik tahunannya untuk tahun ini. Apple tidak lagi menggunakan nama iTunes Festival, melainkan Apple Music Festival. Penggunaan nama tersebut hadir menyusul mereka telah meluncurkan layanan Apple Music pada akhir Juni lalu. Selain itu, Apple tidak menggelar konser musik hingga sebulan lamanya seperti biasanya.

Gelaran Apple Music Festival sendiri diumumkan Eddy Cue selaku SVP of Internet Software & Services seperti dilansir 9to5Mac. Ia pun sangat senang mengumumkan rencananya untuk menggung dalam Apple Music Festival di mana sejumlah artis terkenal macam Pharrell Williams, One Directions, dan banyak lainnya dijadwalkan juga akan turut memeriahkannya.

“We wanted to do something really special for music fans this year,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services. “The Apple Music Festival is a greatest hits set of ten unbelievable nights featuring some of the best performers on the planet appearing live and interacting directly with their fans on Connect and Beats 1.”

Selain itu, Apple dilaporkan akan membagikan tiket secara gratis dengan bekerjasama dengan media partner setempat, yaitu London Evening Standard.
