Kata Eddy Cue Soal Apple Enggan Bantu FBI Bongkar iPhone

Setelah Tim Cook dan Craig Frederighi, kini giliran SVP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue yang mengutarakan pendapatnya mengenai perlawanan Apple terhadap FBI soal enkripsi di iPhone.

Seperti dikutip 9to5Mac, Eddy Cue dalam wawancaranya bersama Univision mengatakan bahwa FBI meminta kunci (backdoor) yang Apple tidak miliki. Kunci tersebut dikatakan Cue sangat berbahaya jika bisa diciptakan karena bakal digunakan oleh siapa saja, termasuk penjahat.

Tidak hanya itu, Eddy Cue juga mengungkapkan alasan mengapa Apple tengah menggarap sistem keamanan supaya iPhone tidak mudah diretas. Alasannya adalah untuk melindungi pengguna dari penjahat dan teroris.
