Ahli Digital Forensik Sebut Sistem iOS Kini Lebih Mudah Diretas

Ia mampu meretas sejumlah iPhone populer mulai dari iPhone 7 sampai iPhone X.

Di sisi lain, ponsel Android seperti Google Pixel 2 dan Samsung Galaxy S9 gagal dilacak data GPS-nya.

Bahkan ia tidak berhasil mendapatkan apa-apa dari Huawei P20 Pro.

“Right now, we’re getting into iPhones. A year ago we couldn’t get into iPhones, but we could get into all the Androids. Now we can’t get into a lot of the Androids.”

Menurutnya saat ini banyak vendor yang mulai meningkatkan sistem keamanannya tapi dengan tujuan lain.

Banyak vendor hanya berusaha mempersulit akses pemerintah dan penegakan hukum dengan kedok privasi konsumen.

“Some of the newer operating systems are harder to get data from than others. I think a lot of these [phone] companies are just trying to make it harder for law enforcement to get data from these phones … under the guise of consumer privacy."

Dibandingkan dengan tahun lalu, saat ini pihak digital forensik lebih mudah meretas iPhone daripada Android. (*)
