Di Amerika Serikat, teknologi eSIM sudah digunakan oleh 3 operator besar dan bahkan sudah mendukung eSIM untuk Apple Watch.
Sayangnya di Indonesia, baru ada operator Smartfren saja yang mendukung eSIM. Operator paling besar yaitu Telkomsel sampai saat ini masih belum berencana membuat eSIM dalam waktu dekat.
